Studio Green has earlier made Sillunnu Oru Kaadhal and Paruthiveeran.The audio of the film was released on May 11, 2010.Director Hari is known for his action films.Expectations are very high as Surya plays a cop after the hit film Khaaka Khaaka. Singam also stars Prakash Raj and Vivek.Singam will be released on 28 May 2010.Surya is all set to make his Bollywood debut in Ram Gopal Varma's Rakta Charitra that is scheduled for a 2010 release.Anushka Shetty won the critically acclaimed Nandi Award for her role as Jejamma in the 2009 release Arundati.Hari has directed hit films like Saamy, Thamirabharani, Vel and Ayya. Singam is his 10th film.Hari is one of the most successful directors in Tamil cinema.
